Baby Shower OOTD - The theme was colorful and tropical unlike the actual weather which was rainy and depressing. I enjoyed myself so much thanks to my three best friends/family. It was an emotional day as I was surrounded by so much love and support. I can’t wait to have this baby already, cause the only thing missing was a nice glass of wine. Love it all!

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m only interested in a different kind of beautiful. I hate conforming to what ever trend it is that makes other women sexy and desired by all. This pregnancy has made me realize that what society has deemed flawed and “ugly” actually excites me. I’m not in the mood to entice the masses with anything extra than what God has already given me. I’m obviously desired by someone… I’m happily married and pregnant :-P.

I’m wearing this smile and laughing, but inside I’m screaming “I WANT MY BODY BACK!!”. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing… please don’t get me wrong. However, it would be nice to indulge in some of the things that I love, shop for clothes, and see my damn feet for a change. I’m round… that’s something I would have been upset to admit before.. a few more weeks to go.

Maternity At Graduation:
It’s getting harder and harder to find something cute to wear when your 6 weeks away from delivering a newborn. I’m not feeling like my usual self, but I think I made quite the effort at my brother’s high school graduation. I even wore high heel wedges, so there! My natural TWA was shiny and thick and I accented it with a small flower brooch I thrifted. As Mrs. GaptoothDiva, I’m making a statement with the maternity skirt from GAP. LOL.

8 Months and Two Weeks Pregnant - It’s a shame how high that bar was set by Mrs. Carter aka Queen Bey aka Beyonce. As a pregnant woman, you are no longer allowed to walk around in sweats and flip-flops, big t-shirts, and looking severely swollen in the face. LOL. No seriously, it’s NOT her fault. I just love to dress up anyway. It’s easy to blame a celebrity for my problems.
I’m at the final lap of the pregnancy, and I can’t wait to evict this baby. People often don’t realize I’m pregnant, they just assume I’m fat. I don’t know how to feel about that. Anyway, I’m still wearing heels and most of the time I’m supposed to be in bed. Keep the party going. I don’t stop strutting for anything.

Stripes and Boots
So its raining and you really can’t expect much more this time of year. I got errands regardless, so I must hit the streets… Not literally.
I’m wearing a Vintage Katie Lewis purple, fuschia (I hope I spelled that right) and teal mid length dress. This is so comfortable! It’s not maternity at all, but gives me plenty of room for my belly, plus its got pockets. #ohyeah Got it for only $7 … A steal.
I added a cut off black cardigan and my black leather riding boots. With a bow and my trusting geek specs, I’m ready. Check out my berry luscious lips c/o of Nikka K.
