I really wanted some earrings that matched the dress I planned to wear to the baby Shower. All of the colors were in the theme, so I painted some old earrings to match it. I loved the overall result and can’t wait to do more with my old earrings in my collection.

I was given another pair of plain ‘ole earrings. As much as I appreciated it, I couldn’t walk around with these huge blank shapes hanging from my ears. I decided it was time to get my “do-it-yourself” on.
I didn’t have the time, nor the energy to go out and purchase any items for this DIY, so i decided to use some trusting nail polish and a pencil to create my designs. I hand-painted some zebra like stripes and got to work. Not only do I love it, but its a cool casual addition to my already extensive earring collection.
This project took about 20 minutes to complete, and 5 minutes to dry. I watched Sesame Street with my son while I did this, so you know it was a no-brain-er. LOL.

I’m trying Neon for the summer and I think I like it. Love this thrifted blazer. However the neon nail polish is really growing on me. I think this just might be my new thing for the summer.
