You gotta step out on faith. Stop sitting online judging people, making assumptions about folks, and start making your dreams come true. You may be broke, hungry, and suffering from illness. However, one step a day is 365 steps a year. Every little bit counts. The problem today is that we sit online racing to get to something or somewhere we see the people we follow getting/doing. Yeah right! Just like you, they are NOT going to show the bad. They will not promote the struggles. Everyone looks like superstars, but in reality they barely pay the bills and they clutching that EBT card. Live for yourself, not to have something/anything to showcase on your timeline. The only thing I’m afraid of besides my creator of course, is the idea of not being ME because I wanted you to love me. When the truth is, if I play the role of someone you would love… you’ve never really loved ME in the first place. That kind of love is rare. The kind where you could do anything, even the most absurd… An the other person continues to say you are amazing. I thank God everyday that I was able to experience that.

I found this sweater and I fell in love. I deserved the sweater and the sweater deserved an opportunity to piss off some folks. We were a match made in thrift store heaven.
With two boys and that fat sexy man that wifed me up, I don’t feel like I wear dresses enough anymore. I’m too much of a time boy sometimes. My husband gets mad when I say, “There is a gay man inside of me that will die if he doesn’t get out… or at least get a new pair of heels!” Lol. I’m only half serious, though.
There is something to be said about that moment where you pick something out to wear and say to yourself, “F*ck it!”
Not because you don’t like it and you know that people will talk anyway, but because you love it and you know they’re going to stare. I love pushing the envelope. I love pissing off the cowards who wouldn’t dare wearing some of this mess, unless everyone was doing it. It is that aspect alone, that I feel very much ahead of the pack.

I feel like my life is the perfect example of not listening to “your haters”. They said I was ugly, “look at her with that big ass gap”, you’re too dark, too fat, and nobody likes you. I could have hid in the corner my whole life. I almost died, thinking my life wasn’t worth living. I think I hurt myself more than their words could have, because I hated to believe they were right. I couldn’t believe after all I’ve done to end my life, God saw fit to keep me here. I was meant for something bigger than their words. I was destined for something much stronger than pain. I don’t know what it is just yet. Nevertheless, I do know… that no matter how they feel about me… I look in the mirror everyday and think to myself “They can’t tell me shit!”

It’s easy to throw on a body con dress and some pumps and step out sexy. What’s sexy to me is when I can wear just jeans and a t-shirt and this man can’t keep his hands off me. I learned recently that when you’re married (or in a committed relationship), you don’t need to wear the tight and seductive stuff anymore. You can be as creative as you want. If he loves you, whatever you wear is sexy to him. Besides, it looks as if you’re still recruiting, so what’s the point? Dress sexy for him, not the world. Keep it simple, Fyourstyle!
